In November 2014, our shul was founded by Rabbi Uri Lesser, himself a native of West Hempstead.

Rabbi Uri Lesser has served as our Mo’rei d’asra since founding the shul in 2014. His warm and welcoming demeanor sets the tone for the kehilla.

During the week Rabbi Lesser serves as the Director of Pastoral Care at the Gurwin Jewish Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and previously taught as a High School Rebbi in Queens for eight years.
